## Turn music memory into a shared timeline game.

### What the design needed to achieve

Problem

### Playback can spoil the game.

Music services can reveal the song, artist, artwork, or year before the guess.

### Digital can replace the table.

A heavy app can pull attention away from cards, debate, and shared memory.

### Use the phone as a bridge.

Let the card start playback, protect the answer, and return attention to the group.

Spoiler control

The pre-reveal scan response hides title, artist, year, artwork, and other answer clues.

Preserve the guess even when playback begins on a phone.

### Keep the turn loop physical

Table-first play

The player scans, listens, places the card in time, and then reveals the answer.

Intended impact

Use the screen for support while the shared timeline stays central.

### Design for two reading directions

Bilingual play

The experience supports Persian and English. The Persian timeline places older music on the right and newer music on the left.

Intended impact

Keep the game natural for mixed-language groups.

### Separate preview from release

Honest status

The working scanner and website remain a preview while catalog approval, rights, and print checks stay open.

Show the product without presenting candidate material as release-ready.
